Snow in Madison!

It's always such a surprise when it snows here in Mississippi! Mark and I were at a party at a friends house when the snow started....yes, people were throwing snowballs and I was so tempted to do a snow angel!!!!

Christmas in Madison

It's DECEMBER!!!! WooooHoooo!!!! I am rockin this blog stuff!!!! Remember Michele...this is for YOU!!!
I did very little decorating in Madison this year...I did not put up the big tree...I only did a little decorating on the kitchen island and the dining room table. It was awesome when it came time to put it all up!

Thanksgiving

We celebrated Thanksgiving in Port Gibson this year! A dream come true for me!! I had the best time getting the house ready...we actually FINISHED painting the dining room. It's a beautiful pale pink with a pale pale blue ceiling! My mother brought the bulk of the food..I added a few casseroles and the rolls! After we ate we took our annual family portrait and drove to a few of the sights in Port Gibson...the Ruins of Windor and the Mississippi River. Good Times!

Maw Maw's 95th Birthday!

This is my cousin Mike, Me and my brother Wes at my grandmother's 95th birthday party!

Spark

I touched on "Spark" earlier in my blog and said I'd add more later...Here it is! Sister and I flew to Salt Lake City, Utah in November to a creative event called Spark! We had classes in jewelry making, scrapbooking, photography, sewing...we met so many nice and creative people. We had a wonderful time and hope to go again!

Kayak Mississippi

Also in October, Friends of ours stayed with us in Port Gibson for the annual Kayak race on the Mississippi River. It starts in Port Gibson and ends in Natchez. Lynn and her brother Pard were the only two that participated in the race...the rest of us were there for moral support! It was tons of fun for us and lots of hard work for them, but I hope they will do it again next year!

Reid

It's October now! September flew by with me home ALONE cleaning out the pantry and trying to reorganize my life....that's when I should have updating my blog! Anyway, back to October. Mark and I drove to Sumrall. MS to watch Reid play football. It was So Much Fun! Reid played great, it was an exciting game and they WON!
